Gastón Liberto nació en Sierra Grande, Patagonia, Argentina. Estudió Bellas Artes y Filosofia en Rio Cuarto Argentina , en esta ciudad creó junto a sus compañeros de clase un grupo de circo que en la actualidad sigue vigente .
El Circo y el Carnaval desde su infancia son la fuente de sus imagenes, son su paradigma estético.
Desde el año 2000 vive Junto a su compañera y musa Julieta Cerutti en Barcelona ciudad que le inspira por su cultura y por su comunidad artistica internacional . Su obra está influenciada por el Realismo Mágico Latinoamericano, el Surrealismo Pop, la gente, los viajes, la naturaleza, los acontecimientos sociales, la música, la electrónica. Busca entender a través del arte todo el caos y la ansiedad de la Posmodernidad. Hace 10 años que trabaja en pintura, escultura e ilustración.

Gastón was born in Sierra Grande, Argentine Patagonia. He studied Art and Philosophy in Rio IV, Argentina. In this city, he and his classmates formed a circus which is still in force nowadays. The Circus and the Carnival are the source of his former images of his childhood, they are his aesthetic paradigm. Since the year 2000 he lives with his wife and muse Julieta cerutti in Barcelona, the city which inspires him for its culture and for its international artistic community. His work is influenced by the latino-american “magic realism” and pop surrealism . people, travels, nature, social events, music, technology, all the chaos, and the anxiety of the post-modernity is what he tries to understand through art. He has been working in painting and sculpture for 10 years.
